Please see the following
information from Denise Moody, the League Director, and Tim
Nelson, Youth Pastor, as we prepare for another exciting year of CTL. If you would like to coach or have
questions concerning the following information, please contact Tim Nelson at the church office (205)
339-5990. For major problems or
concerns, you may contact Denise Moody. All YOU
NEED TO KNOW AND MORE! What
do I do with my Paperwork? If you are playing or coaching for St. Mark UMC,
please give your paperwork to Tim. You can now fill out your forms online or
bring them by the church office. ***Click Here to Print the Youth Form (Word Format) ***Click Here to Print the Team Roster

(Word Format) Who
do I give my money to? The league will not be able to accept personal
checks this year. Therefore, if you are
playing for St. Mark UMC, make checks out to St. Mark UMC and put CTL on the
memo line. If
I can’t play or coach, is there a way I can still be involved? Most
definitely! You have an opportunity to
support not only your church’s youth but all youth involved in our league by
“helping these young people grow physically, mentally, spiritually, and
socially.” (See Luke 2:52). Sign up today to be a League Representative
or a Flock Leader. League
Representative
We are working hard to have a
Cross the Line League Representative at each gym to help direct the program,
answer questions, and foster the environment we must have to continue this
league. Please let me know if you are interested or know someone who might be
interested in being a League Representative.
Flock leader
This program is designed to assist the coaches, players, and others involved ensuring the fellowship and everyone is pursuing appropriate ministry aspects. These individuals have an interest in maintaining the atmosphere Cross the Line Basketball strives to provide during this fellowship opportunity. Flock leaders can be parents, youth leaders, even ministers. But they must be able to “LEAD THE FLOCK,” which includes spectators and peers, in the direction appropriate for these youth during this program.
