Our contemporary service, Sanctuary, is held in the Family Life Center (the gymnasium) on the backside of the church away from McFarland Blvd. Most people enter through the glass doors under the drive cover on the north side of the church. If you are attending our Traditional Service at 10:30am then enter the large wooden doors located at the front of the church that faces McFarland Boulevard (Hwy 82).
Please wear whatever you feel is appropriate. You can come in jeans or come in a suit! We’re just glad that you are visiting us at St. Mark!

In the Family Life Center, where the contemporary services are held, worship is lead by a team of musicians in a praise band. In the main church, where traditional services are held, the worship is lead by an organist and pianist with the choir singing special anthems or ensemble arrangements during the course of worship.
At St. Mark’s we believe children are a gift from God. We have a loving, gentle, and well-supervised children’s ministry under the direction of trained leaders available to provide for the needs of your children. Childcare for infants, toddlers and preschoolers is in our Nursery, located in the long hallway across from our welcome center. An usher or greeter will be happy to direct you to the location. In the traditional service, if you wish to keep your children with you and they become restless, you may step into our “Cry Room” which has audio connections so you can still listen and watch the service without having to worry if your child is too active. It is located between the two entrances to the main church sanctuary.
No, you do not. When you visit with us please do not feel obligated to give. We consider your decision to give or not give between you and God and your relationship with the Church. We only ask people, who as members at St. Mark and vowed to support the Church through their prayers, service, and gifts to keep their commitment to support the Church and its outreach into the community.
There is a front parking lot between McFarland Blvd and the church and a rear parking lot behind the Family Life Center. The rear parking lot is reached by taking the drive to the right side (westerly side) of the church as you face the church.

The easiest way is to inform one of the church pastors or ushers before the service to explain the membership vows. Or during service to come forward when an invitation to join the church is extended towards the end of the service. It would be helpful to the pastor if you filled out a small information card about yourself that is located on the back side of each pew and give it to the pastor when you come forward. You could also place the information card in the offering plate and the pastor will acknowledge you to come forward to receive the membership vows towards the end of the service.
In the contemporary service the same process would apply as for the traditional service. The information card is the same as the visitor card found in the church service bulletin.
